We offer a complete range of motor control centre solutions, designed and built to the highest possible standards. We have extensive knowledge and experience of producing motor control panels incorporating variable speed drives (frequency inverters). Low voltage variable speed drive panels for motors up to 500 kW have been provided for a variety of applications including waste incineration plants and smoke extract applications. Many of our control panels have passed the extremely stringent environmental requirements required to allow them to be used for applications at numerous London Underground locations. For these applications special paint finishes are provided, specialist components selected and low smoke, zero halogen (LSOH) cable and trunking systems are utilised.
Powerpoint can provide complete or partial control panel refurbishment and modifications for existing installations that require upgrade or overhaul due to component failure or fatigue. Our engineering teams will ensure that current control philosophies are maintained and new systems are integrated into the existing system with the least amount of disruption and downtime possible.

Each control panel or system is thoroughly tested and inspected before delivery ensuring the highest quality and reliability at all times. Our formal quality procedures are also in place to ensure these same high standards are monitored and achieved throughout. We also offer our customers the facility for factory acceptance testing and witness testing of equipment prior to site delivery and installation either by our engineers and technicians or your own contractors.
